How to Oil a Beard Trimmer

Two minutes of maintenance that extends blade life and keeps edges clean.

2 min read · July 5, 2026

When

After every few uses, or whenever you hear more friction than usual. Oiling is cheaper than replacement heads.

How

1. Brush hair from the blades.

2. Place 1–2 drops of clipper oil across the teeth.

3. Run the trimmer 10–15 seconds to distribute.

4. Wipe excess so oil doesn’t hit skin or shirts.
